Oval form on four rolled feet and with vividly curved rim, partly open worked wall decorated with sculptural cartouches, rocailles, blossoms and acanthus. Silver, white metal insert. Export mark Merkurkopf (1840-1973) for silver 950/1000, maker's mark ''GS'' with head in lozenge (from 1904). 14 x 43 x 28 cm; 1.060 g without insert. - Insert with smaller dents.

Ovale Form auf vier gerollten Füßen und mit lebhaft geschwungenem Rand, teils offen gearbeitete Wandung mit plastischen Kartuschen, Rocaillen, Blüten und Akanthus besetzt. Silber, Einsatz aus Weißmetall. Exportmarke Merkurkopf (1840-1973) für Silber 950/1000, Meistermarke "GS" mit Kopf in Raute (ab 1904). 14 x 43 x 28 cm; 1.060 g ohne Einsatz. - Einsatz mit kleineren Dellen.
