EINSTEIN Albert (1879-1955).

EINSTEIN Albert (1879-1955).
L.A.S. "Albert", [Berlin] March 27, 1931, to Mileva EINSTEIN-MARIC; 1 page in-4; in German.
To his first wife.
He is, thank God, back from the whirlwind of the United States ("Wieder zuruck von dem Strudel von Amerika - gottseidank"). There, he searched in vain for the cacti Mileva had asked for; but he has learned that rare cacti are being raised by a nursery in Erfurt.
He would like to contribute financially to his son Albert's move, but prefers to entrust the money to Mileva, having full confidence in her financial abilities ("weil ich zu Deinen wirtschaftlichen Fahigkeiten besonderes Vertrauen habe").
He enjoys the (relative!) tranquility of Berlin and works hard on the parallel-structured space: "Ich arbeite fest und geniesse die (relative!) Ruhe von Berlin. Es geht immer noch um den Raum mit Parallelstruktur".
He is very pleased with the messages he has received from Tetel (Eduard, his second son), about whom Toni has spoken with great enthusiasm...
